It’s what people called a woman who, however little she had, always found a way. Her children were never hungry — not once, not ever — and that was no small thing to manage on very little. It was deliberate. It was constant. And it earned her the name.

That’s the idea this brand is actually built on: not scarcity, but a fierce, quiet kind of provision. Making sure there’s enough, however little there is to work with.

A candle carries a version of the same thing — light with nothing extra to it, made by hand, meant to be used rather than admired from a distance. That’s what we’re actually trying to make.
